Airport transfer
We offer a pickup service from the airport for €65 per journey.
At the toll booths do not go through the ones marked with ‘Via Verde’. These are only for people with a pre-pay account for the tolls. You may end up with a large fine.
Use any of the lanes without this sign above, the toll charge is €4.20 for a car but may be more for larger vehicles.
Directions from Lisbon airport
If you collect your car from the car rental within the airport you have to turn right from the car hire exit. The road quickly forks with an access road on the right up to Departures.
Take the left fork into the tunnel, stay in one of the right hand lanes and you will come down to a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the last exit on the right. Follow signs for A1 Norte A8 Oeste and A12 Sul.
You will merge with traffic and keep going straight for the A1 / A8
After a short time the road will fork with the A12 going south however move into the lanes for the A8. Follow signs for A8 Outras Destinos. The road will incline to the left and become a flyover and curve to the left.
Keep following signs for the A8 Oeste. The signs will say Torres Vedras. Leira, Bombarral, Peniche, Obidos and Caldas da Rainha.
Stay on this road for about 40 mins then take the second turning to Peniche (IP6).
Take the right hand slip hand signposted N247 to Lourinha.
Drive under the bridge, the road splits - take the left hand lane towards Lourinha and Lisbon.
Ignore the first sign to Geraldes.
Take a right after the FORD garage / car wash – sign posted Geraldes.
Drive past the windmill and the church.
At T-junction - continue straight ahead, sign posted Sao Bernandino.
Our house can be found on the right hand-side at the next T-junction, Our property is surrounded by white walls and new wooden fencing.
